Pricing and Policy Disclosures

All policies, pricing and discounts are subject to change without notice.

Care cannot be provided for animals requiring injections or who are seriously ill. However, care can be provided for pets on typical oral medications and/or those with typical, non-critical health issues.

Overnight Stay 

Daily rate is $40 per day.*
Pricing is based upon 24-hour periods.
Daily rate is incurred every 24 hours of stay.
Eight hours and over is billed as a full day at the rate of $40 per day.

Hourly and Partial Day Rates 
If the final pick up date extends beyond a 24 hour rate period but is less than 8 hours, an hourly rate of $5 per hour will be incurred (up to 8 hours at which time the full day rate will be incurred).
 
Short stays up to 8 hours are billed at $5 per hour.*
Minimum charge of $15 for up to 3 hours (or less). 
Maximum charge of $40 per day. 

Multiple Dogs from Same Household 

First dog stays at "full day" rate, and additional dogs from same household receive a discount of 10% ($36/day).* Hourly rate is correspondingly discounted.

Pricing Examples

Example 1
If the drop off time is Wednesday at 6 p.m., and the pick up at is at 6 p.m. on Sunday, the total charge will be $160 - four days at "full day" rate of $40/day.* 

Example 1a – Two dogs from same household
If the drop off time is Wednesday at 6 p.m., and the pick up at is at 6 p.m. on Sunday, the total charge will be $304 – four full days, first dog at "full day" rate of $40/day, second dog at $36/day.*

Example 2: If the drop off time is Tuesday at 8 a.m., and the pick up at is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, the total charge will be $185 - four days at "full day" rate of $40/day plus 5 hours at $5/hr.*

Example 2a – Two dogs from same household
If the drop off time is Tuesday at 8 a.m., and the pick up at is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, the total charge will be $351.50 - four full days, first dog at "full day" rate of $40/day, second dog at $36/day, plus the partial day rate of 5 hours at $5/hr. for first dog and 5 hours at $4.50 for the second dog.*

*Applicable state and local taxes will be added to all pricing listed above.

Reservations 

Availability may be limited on certain dates or holidays. Advance scheduling with at least 24 hours notice is preferred and recommended. You may schedule your pet's visit weeks or months in advance if you know your travel plans. However, we will do our best to accommodate short notice or emergency travel situations. Don't hesitate to inquire.

Some dates may not be available for scheduling. 

Drop Off and Pick Up Hours

All stays are by pre-scheduled appointment only. Drop offs and pick ups are scheduled between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., 7 days a week. Appointments outside of these hours may be considered on a per case basis and may be subject to an early/late fee.

We may have other business appointments or personal schedules to keep, so we respectfully request that you be on time for your scheduled drop off or pick up time. If you will be more than 10 minutes early or late, please call ahead as soon as you know that you will be early or late to let us know of the scheduling adjustment. If you will be late, please do not wait to call until the time you were scheduled to drop off or pick up. Please call as soon as you are aware that you will be running late.

Cancellations 

In order to maintain the highest standard of personal care that your pet deserves, we only schedule a limited number of dogs to care for in any given period. Thank you for understanding that space is limited. Once a stay has been scheduled, the time is blocked from other appointments. Since only a limited number of pets may be cared for at any given time, please contact us soon as possible if you must cancel your pet’s scheduled stay for any reason, so that the time can be made available for other clients.

Cancellations | Late Fees

We typically do not have an issue with unforeseen cancellations and have never charged a fee for cancellations that have occurred, but we do reserve the right to do so.
 
Regular Days. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% for stays cancelled with less than 24 hours notice on dates or weeks that do not contain national or federal holidays. To be determined on a per case basis.

Holidays. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of up to 50% for stays cancelled with less than 7 days notice, and up to 100% for stays cancelled with less than 48 hours notice if scheduled over a national or federal holiday or within the 7 days preceding or following a national or federal holiday. To be determined on a per case basis.

We reserve the right to charge a fee for drop offs or pick ups outside of the stated business hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. To be determined on a per case basis.

We reserve the right to charge a fee if you are late for a scheduled drop off or pick up. To be determined on a per case basis.

If you have prepaid and must cancel your pet's visit or services for any reason including illness, scheduling conflict, travel cancellation or postponement, death of pet, funeral, airline cancellation, job loss, weather related issues, natural disasters or any other reason, etc., your account will be credited the full amount to be used at a later time, OR you may request a transferable gift certificate be issued in the amount of the credit. Refunds will not be issued. 
 
New Client Consultation

For new clients, it's helpful and recommended for all of us, including your dog, to meet ahead of any stay you'd like to schedule for your pet. This initial consultation is free and usually takes no longer than 20-30 minutes. If time or circumstances do not allow for an in-person initial consultation, the initial consultation can take place over the phone.

The initial meeting will help to reduce any anxiety your pet may have when coming to stay for the first time, and will also help to ensure that the relationship is a good fit for all parties.

New Client Questionnaire

Prior to your initial consultation visit, you will be provided with a link to an online questionnaire where you will be asked to fill out a detailed information about your pet and other pertinent info including detailed contact info, alternate contact info, vet contact info, your pet's medical and behavioral history, feeding/medication schedules, and any other comments you have about your pet.

Methods of payment

Cash or check is preferred. 

Payment can be made with a credit or debit card through PayPal with advance arrangements only, and there will be a 3% service fee added for credit or debit card payments. 

Payment in full will be required at time of pick up. 

We reserve the right to request a 50% down payment at drop off for new clients or for extended stays over 8 days.

We reserve the right to request a 50% down payment for stays scheduled for national and federal holiday periods.
 
State and local sales taxes will be added to all transactions.

Release and Waiver

Please note that all clients will be required to sign a Liability Release and Consent to Emergency Veterinary Care form for all services.

What to Bring

Bring the essentials:

Your dog's regular food and special treats*. Enough for all the days of their stay.

Any medications your dog needs. Be sure to include clear written instructions for dosing.

Your dog's regular collar, walking or bark collars (if you use them).

Coats or other weather related items your dog may need. (We do have multiple sizes on hand if you forget to pack one).

What you don't need to bring - Optional:

We do have these supplies and items on hand. If the items below are included in your dog's regular travel bag and you don't want to remove them, that's OK. 

Food bowls
Crates (unless discussed ahead of time)
Bedding
Poop bags
Toys

If your dog has special toys or bedding that you think they'd be more comfortable having during their stay, by all means bring those items with. But please note that other dogs may have access to your your dog's items and the items could become chewed or soiled by other dogs.

*Rawhides, pig ears, hard jerky treats, hooves and other chews and treats that can splinter or become choking hazards are not allowed.
